Account Manager

The Account Manager is a client service and marketing savvy hunter. The Account Manager is an individual contributor that drives attendees for our events, summits, roadshows and webinars while building long-term membership relationships across a group of named accounts. The Account Manager is a type-A person that is self-motivated and driven for high performance.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships that promotes retention and loyalty. You will be hands-on with the day-to-day interaction with SAPinsider members and help foster a strong member for life relationship.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a portfolio of 200 SAPinsider companies working directly with line of business and technology roles.
  • Ownership of event attendee recruitment through a white glove concierge enrollment model.

Ad Operations Coordinator

The Ad Operations Coordinator supports a portfolio of clients that engage in our SAPinsider digital display advertising, email-based products and digital publishing services. This is the ideal role for a person that desires a career in digital marketing. Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Manage digital ad services for SAPinsider including house ads, client ads and third party services.
  • Manage and oversee execution of Digital Media Campaigns
  • Work within Ad Server operating environment (DFP) to create and flight campaigns accurately and in a timely manner
  • Utilize ad platforms and third party tools to perform detailed QA, and ensure all ad units are built to specifications campaigns

Conference Producer

SAPinsider, is a leading provider of global events for IT and technology professionals using SAP platforms.   We are growing and have an immediate need to hire an experienced Conference Producer who can help take our well-established events to the next level with creative and innovative strategic thinking.

This is a full life-cycle event production role, where you will work on conference agendas starting with topic research and vetting of potential speakers, through event marketing campaigns and on-site execution of a flawless conference.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruits and vets speakers to present best practices on selected topics.  Manages communications and relationship with speakers before, during and after events.
  • Develops and builds “world class” conference agendas, working with our internal research team and speakers to develop session copy based on top topics.
  • Organizes, writes and compiles all content elements for an event landing page.

  • 5+ years of experience working in content production, content marketing and/or event management preferable in the technology industry.

The Sales Executive is a proven quota driven leader. The Sales Executive reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. This Sales Executive is an individual contributor that leads all new logo selling, renewal sales and expansion selling across a dedicated named account territory of software, technology and systems integration companies.

The Sales Executive is a Type-A, can do individual. The Sales Executive executes an inside/out model that combines high activity-based selling with engaging interpersonal consultative skills. The SAPinsider sales model combines research lead consultation and technology advisory with keen awareness of the GTM challenges that face technology providers.

SAPinsider provides ongoing sales and research training to assure that every Sales Executive has the benefits of continuous skills development.


Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Engage the technology CMO’s team at named accounts including key executives within field marketing, event marketing, webinar marketing, product marketing, demand generation, content marketing and market research insights.
  • Develop a named account territory of 75 SAP Partner technology vendors comprised of active client accounts, dormant client accounts and new logo prospects.
  • Position integrated marketing packages with an average deal size of $15K to $250K.
  • Manage an annual sales quota of $1.5 M in bookings.

Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is an inside sales role that drives attendee registration sales for individual and group attendees to our global SAPinsider events, summits, roadshows and webinars. This is the ideal role for a person that desires a fast paced opportunity and a career in sales. The Sales Representative is a type-A person that is self motivated and driven for high performance. SAPinsider conducts more than 100 events across the globe each year.

Specific Responsibilities include:
  • Attendee selling including email marketing, cold calling and inbound lead follow up. 
  • Achieve attendee sales goals for each global events by converting prospects into event attendees and expanding to further engage others within their company.
  • Work off of a defined account list to identify prospective attendees and manage a steady flow of inbound marketing leads to drive conversions.
  • Network with prospects to find other relevant contacts who may have interest in event attendance
  • Track attendance confirmations and limit attrition through consistent communication with registrants throughout the event life cycle
  • Maintain and nurture a past attendee and prospect database using SFDC
  • Engage in post-event conversations to cull feedback from former attendees and gauge interest in possible future events as well as preselling the next year’s event attendance. 

Professional Qualifications

Senior Conference Producer

SAPinsider, is a leading provider of global events for IT and technology professionals using SAP platforms.   We are growing and have an immediate need to hire an experienced Senior Conference Producer who can help lead the content director for our well-established events, build an elite team and take our events to the next level with creative and innovative strategic thinking.  This is a full life-cycle event production role, where you will work on conference agendas starting with topic research and vetting of potential speakers, through on-site execution of a flawless conference.

Reporting to our President of Events based in Boston. The ideal candidate must have a keen interest in learning, attention to detail and can handle multiple events in various stages of production.



Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruits and vets speakers to present best practices on selected topics.  Manages communications and relationship with speakers before, during and after events.
  • Develops and builds “world class” conference agendas, working with our internal research team and speakers to develop session copy based on top topics.
  • Organizes, writes and compiles all content elements for an event landing page.  
  • Collaborates with event logistics team and sales team to incorporate vendor and event experience elements into the agenda.
  • Partners with marketing to help support the marketing of sponsorship opportunities as well as to help promote the events.
  • Manages all session elements leading up to the event, including speaker presentations and loading event app content. 
  • Ensures smooth execution of all event content and provides a high level of customer service on-site. 
  • Perform post-event content analysis and reporting metrics.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in business, marketing, journalism or related discipline along with 5 years of experience working in content production and/or event management preferable in the IT and/or technology industry on a global scale.  
  • SAP knowledge is a huge bonus.
  • Adept at speaker acquisition, conference programming, and coordinating multiple sessions/tracks.
  • Comfortable speaking with senior-level executives and industry experts.
  • Strong research, writing and presentation skills.
  • General knowledge of event management systems and tools required.  Knowledge of Cvent is highly preferred.
  • Experience working within a CRM system such as Salesforce a plus.
  • 30% U.S. and international travel required.

Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will assist with general accounting activities in the organization and be responsible for Accounts Receivables (A/R). The ideal candidate will have a solid academic foundation, highly motivated, and is able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-agile work environment.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • General Accounting:
    • Assist in all aspects of month-end and year-end closing process, including reviewing general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, accrual entries, and inter-company entries.
    • Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts verifying accuracy of data, and identifying, reporting, and resolving any discrepancies.
    • Assist with budget preparation
    • Participates in the annual audit process.
    • Conducts analysis and prepares ad hoc reports, as requested.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Record day to day account receivable financial transactions
    • Reviews transactions for errors and accuracy and makes any needed corrections.
    • Ensures all changes to accounts are accurate and legitimate.
    • Manages customer bills and payment processing and ensures pro-formal invoicing.
    • Responsible for the daily customer collections calls including sending follow-up inquiries. Responds to incoming calls and questions regarding A/R activities and processes customer requests.
    • Receive and process payments, invoices, and accounting information. Answers inquiries and escalated customer issues.
    • Produces monthly statements from outstanding A/R.

Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in accounting, finance, or related business degree.
  • 3+ years of related experience supporting an accounting department with A/R, A/P, and general accounting duties.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices in accordance with GAAP.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software systems. Knowledge in SalesForce and FinancialForce would be a bonus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office skills, including advanced Excel.
