Front End Developer

As a Front End Developer for a fast-paced global conference, training and publishing company, you will take on the responsibility of developing and maintaining our customer-facing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will work closely with an awesome team of fun, dedicated techies to interpret, produce, modify and maintain our websites.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about writing code and creating a great user experience. You spend serious time honing your craft, knowing what’s next, advancing your skills and your career.

As a Front End Developer you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a variety of conference, seminar, and publication websites
  • Troubleshooting and resolving various technical and creative issues that may develop in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide quality assurance for existing products
  • Create and maintain product documentation

Skills and experience necessary for this role:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Working knowledge in basic web graphic/ design using Adobe Creative Suite programs
  • Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting /problem-solving skills

Additional skills and experience that are nice to have but not required for this role:

  • Any experience in PHP, .NET,  MySQL and MS Access
  • Experience in version control like Git (Github/ Bitbucket)
  • Experience in a web responsive framework like Bootstrap
  • Experience with a content management system like Wordpress

Associate Conference Producer

Researcher, analyst, writer and eventually conference producer...these are the key responsibilities and exciting challenges you’ll take on as a junior member of our quality-driven conference production team.

We are seeking an ambitious, highly detail-oriented professional with strong communications skills to assist our conference team in researching technology markets and trends, recruiting expert speakers, developing program agendas, editing content, and producing events that draw rave reviews from attendees and exhibitors alike.  As Associate Conference Producer, you will:

  • Investigate the detailed training and educational needs of IT professionals in the markets we serve.  To do this, you will conduct telephone interviews, email surveys, and at times meet with our customers.
  • Interview and qualify the speakers who possess the expertise to deliver the detailed technical information that our customers need. 
  • Support Conference Producers with a variety of administrative and support tasks associated with meeting event deliverables, deadlines, and budgets on time and with excellence
  • Write session abstracts and other promotional copy for web sites and brochures
  • Additional projects and tasks as assigned.

In this role, no two days will be alike, and you will be called upon to manage projects that require flexibility, extreme attention to detail, and a “whatever it takes” perspective.  Some travel is required.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years of solid work experience in any number of roles requiring outstanding writing and communication, research, project management/coordination, journalism or sales skills.  High tech experience is a plus.

As our highly organized, detailed-oriented Sales & Marketing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Partner Sales Team – a highly driven group of six that are growing our revenues as tremendous rate
    • Become a Salesforce.com expert with the ability to generate sales and marketing reports and work with cross-functional teams to optimize current lead-to-pay processes

Our SAP information products team is looking for a versatile product manager — who can also wear a “content hat” — to define strategy and drive revenue for our most highly trafficked website, SAPinsiderOnline.com. As our new Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing the site’s product strategy and development roadmap
  • Leading a team in executing the site’s roadmap
  • Making sure the right site enhancements are delivered at the right time
  • Representing customers and their information needs throughout the product development process
  • Evangelizing the site externally to readers and sponsors, and internally to the executive team, sales team, IT, and colleagues
